Terms and conditions
All accepted bids are contracts and are considered final and non withdrawable. The auctioneer has final authority on the amount bid for any item and/or the identity of the purchaser of any item.
A buyer's premium of 5% will be applied to all purchases. The RMEF is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and no sales tax will be collected.
The person posting the bids online has to be the person who has registered for the auction.
ITEM SHIPMENT Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. For advanced shipping estimates, contact Kristy Bosworth at 1-800-225-5355, ext 242 before February 22rd.
FIREARMS If you purchased or won a firearm, before taking possession, you must make arrangements with an FFL dealer (Federal Firearms License) in your state to transfer the firearm.
HUNTS AND TRIPS Additional expenses not included in donated hunts and trips may include but are not limited to gratuity, taxes, taxidermy, transportation, meat packaging and processing, shipping, etc.
TAX DEDUCTIONS/IRS The market value or estimated fair market value will be provided for each auction item. IRS rules permit a charitable contribution for the amount paid in excess of fair market value. Only that part of the payment made with the intention of making a gift and for which the taxpayer receives no consideration qualifies as a contribution. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of any item purchased at auction.
